Diamonds in the Rough: Solutions to Employing the Untapped Workforce presented by the Larimer County Workforce Development Board

Do you need to address your labor needs and enhance your bottom line?

Consider tapping into the unique strengths of job seekers with barriers to employment.  Employment barriers can take many forms- examples include the lack of reliable transportation, having a criminal background, childcare issues, and disabilities.

Join us for the Workforce Development Board meeting on August 12, 2015 to hear from employers who have successfully developed and implemented innovative HR solutions to access the untapped workforce.

Guest Speaker Fred Keller, Founder and Chairman of Cascade Engineering will join us via remote access to tell his story.  When Fred Keller founded Cascade Engineering in 1973, he was focused not only on building a successful company but also on creating a great place for people to work.  Keller, in partnership with the state of Michigan, developed a one of a kind program, with the aim to knock down barriers that kept his employees from succeeding.  You can learn more about Cascade Engineering here http://www.cascadeng.com/.
