Windsor Polar Plunge + 5K

Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO), Colorado’s premier sports organization for individuals with intellectual disabilities, is thrilled to host the 2022 Westerra Credit Union Polar Plunge presented by Ford and 5K sponsored by Anytime Fitness. Polar Plunge is a cold-weather fundraiser aimed at providing critical funding for over 15,000 of Special Olympics Colorado athletes who are breaking down barriers to build communities of inclusion.

The Windsor Polar Plunge is a unique event where participants enter the chilly water of Windsor Lake to raise money for SOCO. New in 2022, the Windsor Plunge will also have a 5K component! Participants can Plunge, run or walk the 5K, or both. Entering its thirteenth year in Colorado, Polar Plunge is one of SOCO’s most recognizable fundraisers and provides supporters an easy way to raise funds, engage with athletes and have fun for a great cause.

The fundraising minimum to plunge is $75 (students and SOCO athletes are $50), $35 to run and $105 to do both. To learn more about Polar Plunge and to register, visit SpecialOlympicsCO.org/Plunge
