September Business of the Month – Elevations Credit Union

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Elevations Credit Union as our September Business of the Month. This prestigious recognition celebrates and honors Chamber members who have been members for 10+ years and selected by the Chamber Staff, Board, and the Red Carpet Committee.

Founded in 1952 as the U. of C. Federal Credit Union, Elevations began with just 12 members and less than $100 in assets. Today, the organization has grown into an award-winning Colorado financial institution with more than 170,000 members and over $3 billion in assets. While its size and name have evolved, Elevations remains steadfast in its mission: empowering members through financial solutions and education.

Elevations’ commitment to performance and culture has earned national recognition, including the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in both 2014 and 2020, making it the only Colorado organization to receive the honor twice. More recently, Elevations was named the #1 Top Workplace by The Denver Post in 2025 and has been recognized nationally for excellence in leadership, innovation, and employee well-being.

Join us on Tuesday, September 23, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. as we honor Elevations Credit Union at their Old Town Branch, Community Room, 221 E. Mountain Ave.. The event will conclude with the presentation of the Business of the Month plaque by the Chamber’s Red Carpet Committee.
