Lunch n’ Learn: How Hiring People with Disabilities Positively Impacts Your Triple Bottom LinePresented by Joyce Saffel of Columbine Health Systems in partnership with The Arc of Larimer County
Tuesday, September 12, 2017 11:30-1:00 p.m.
Fort Collins Area Chamber, 225 S. Meldrum St.
Did you know people with disabilities have a lower turnover than average and that employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities average an 85% retention rate after their first year?
Joyce Saffel, HR Director of Columbine Health Systems, will be joining us to share some impactful information about how Columbine has increased their return on investment and improved business efficiencies by hiring people with disabilities. Larimer County’s low unemployment rate is stretching hiring managers and business owners to think in new ways and look into new candidate pools to find the right person to hire and get their critical tasks accomplished. Join us in a thoughtful presentation and dialogue in the benefits to hiring a diverse workforce which includes people with disabilities.
Lunch is $15/members and $20/non-members. Please register by Noon on Monday, September 11 to secure your space.
