How to Deal with Difficult Customers: De-Escalation Training

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA), in partnership with Chad Olms of ARX Security Consulting, will host an in-person training session on Dealing with Difficult Customers for downtown business owners, managers and employees.
In this class, participants will learn how to handle tough or aggressive people by building observation skills and using smart body positioning. The session will cover practical tools, proven techniques and key phrases that can help calm situations down when tensions rise.
Through interactive scenarios and real-life examples, attendees will have the opportunity to practice in a supportive, low-pressure setting. By the end of the session, participants will feel more confident, calm, cool and in control during high-stress encounters.
