Ann Hutchison, the Executive Committee, and Moving Fort Collins Forward

Nov 17, 2020 | Uncategorized

As members, you’ve probably seen the news about the Chamber’s Executive Vice President Ann Hutchison being promoted to President & CEO effective January 1. A big congratulations to Ann! She will bring new energy and ideas to the Chamber while providing continuity and stability during the pandemic recovery and economic rebuilding. I hope you extend to her and the Chamber the high level of help and support you provided to me.

A big thank you to the Chamber Executive Committee for the exceptional job it has done in 2020. Not only did they have to lead the organization during a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic, but they also had to replace their CEO. It was a challenging year, but they rose to the occasion. Members of the Executive Committee are: Chair of the Board Nick Haws (Northern Engineering), Chair-elect Nicole Staudinger (FirstBank), Immediate Past Chair Pete Gazlay (Total Facility Care), Treasurer Brett Kemp (Flood & Peterson), Carrie Baumgart (Markley Motors), and Ryan Schaefer (NAI Affinity).

And last, we are in the final days of the annual Moving Fort Collins Forward! campaign. In the spring we debated whether to conduct the campaign due to Covid-19. The volunteer campaign leaders did not hesitate: yes! The Board agreed with their recommendation. Get this: all of the previous year’s teams returned! That includes Columbine Health Systems, Markley Motors, Red Carpet Committee, UCHealth, Banner Health, Brinkman Partners, FNBO, Flood & Peterson, Elevations Credit Union, Independent Bank / Wilbur’s, and Wells Fargo.

The campaign is ably co-led by returning chairs Deb Kelly of Independent Financial and Mat Dinsmore of Wilbur’s, and Vice Chairs Gerry Agnes with Elevations Credit Union, Gene Bocis with Anheuser-Busch, Connie Dohn with Dohn Construction, Margo Karsten with Banner Health, Brett Kemp with Flood and Peterson, Chris Otto with Pante Moran, Kevin Unger with UCHealth, and Bob Wilson with Columbine Health Systems.

If you know someone who should be a member of the Chamber, let Campaign Manager Kim Medina ([email protected]) know. And if you’ve been thinking about continuing a sponsorship or becoming a sponsor for the first time, Kim can help you.
