Moving Fort Collins Forward! Campaign

For the 10th year in a row, the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce another successful 2020 Moving Fort Collins Forward! Campaign. Even during a time of uncertainty, Chamber volunteers and staff secured funds and memberships to support future Chamber operations, events, programs and initiatives for the business community.

“We are truly grateful for the businesses that continue to see the Chamber’s value and support our initiatives,” said Kim Medina, Vice President of Development and Operations with the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce and leader of the campaign “We gave our volunteers a lofty goal in a challenging environment, and like every year, they were committed and rose to the top. We can’t thank them enough for believing in us and being dedicated year after year.”

Since September 9, 2020, 40 volunteers on 11 teams were given a 2020 goal of raising $360,000 and new members for the Chamber. To reach this goal, volunteers and Chamber staff sold memberships, event sponsorships, advertising, initiatives and budget reduction trades.

“In the spring we asked campaign leaders whether to conduct the campaign due to Covid-19. The volunteers did not hesitate to say yes. The (Chamber) Board agreed with their recommendation and all of the teams from previous years returned,” said David May, Chamber President & CEO. “It was a remarkable show of support and testament to the type of can-do volunteers involved with the Chamber. They wanted to make sure we have the resources to continue our work on behalf of members and the community.”

Businesses can still get involved with the Chamber by becoming a member, sponsoring a 2021 event, or getting involved with business initiatives. Click the information below or call (970) 482-3746.
