First Friday – Drum & Marimba Night at the Museum

Join us at the Global Village Museum for a high-energy First Friday celebration featuring live performances by two dynamic local groups: the Fort Collins African Drum and Dance Collective and Marimba Matatu. Starting at 6 PM, experience the powerful rhythms and joyful movement of traditional West African drum, dance, and song, followed by the intricate, collaborative sounds of Zimbabwean marimba music at 7 PM.

Both groups bring deep cultural knowledge, community spirit, and infectious energy to the stage. You’ll also be able to see our museum galleries for free! So don’t miss this FREE evening of rhythm, connection, and celebration!
