Celebrating its one-year anniversary in Colorado, Windermere Real Estate has hired 21 REALTORS®, opened offices in both Fort Collins and Denver, and completed over 150 transactions. Led by President Eric Thompson, and his vision to “elevate the real estate experience,” the team is expected to grow to 50 agents and will seek additional branch locations in Colorado next year.
Implementing specialized programs like Windermere Certified Listings, The VIP Customer Program, and Neighborhood News, Thompson and his team aim to create a predictable, seamless experience for the customer. Such programs have led to exceptional results. Windermere’s listings in Northern Colorado sell for 11.5 percent more and 25 percent faster compared to the market average.
“In a market full of change and complexity, we are committed to putting the customer first, putting them at ease, and leading them to a successful closing,” Thompson says. “My vision is for Windermere is to be the premiere real estate company in Colorado by providing relevant programs, predictable results, and a terrific experience.”
With combined industry experience of more than 122 years, the Windermere team in Northern Colorado has hit the ground running. Including skilled additions such as Branch Manager Paul Hunter, 2015 Fort Collins Board of REALTORS® Chair and Natalie Davis, 2016 Fort Collins Board of REALTORS® Chair.
“Being able to help build a company and culture from the ground up is something I’ve always dreamed of doing,” says Hunter. “I love this company’s culture, the programs we offer to our customers, and our community involvement.”
In addition to opening the Fort Collins branch last December, Thompson broadened the Windermere Colorado regional footprint in March with Windermere Real Estate 5280 in the Denver Tech Center. Spearheaded by Broker/Owner Michael Zak, the Denver branch just moved into a new location and plans to add 15 more agents in 2016.
To celebrate their first anniversary and share industry insights with the community, Thompson and his team are hosting the second annual Real Estate Forecast Event. Held at the Fort Collins Marriott, 350 E. Horsetooth Road, the public is invited to attend this free event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016.
New to this year’s Forecast Event is Matthew Gardner, Windermere’s Chief Economist (one of only two real estate companies in the country to have an economist on staff), who will present his studies on the nation’s housing economy. Thompson will present on key real estate statistics and trends in the local Northern Colorado market, including home values, the best-selling neighborhoods, and future growth predictions. Also in attendance will be Windermere Real Estate CEO, Geoff Wood, and co-presidents, OB Jacobi and Jill Jacobi Wood from Seattle, Wash.
Following the presentation, guests are invited to attend an open house at the Windermere Colorado office, adjacent to the Marriott at 400 E. Horsetooth Road, Suite 100. RSVP by emailing [email protected].
