Xcel incentive amounts will step down over time as certain Mega Watt targets are met. Incentive amounts are reflected as of 01/1/2023:
Systems sized between 0.5kW – 25kW DC there is no longer any upfront cash rebate. Instead, Xcel pays $.005 per kWh of actual production (paid monthly for 10 years), in addition to the savings on your electric bill.
Systems sized between 25.1 kW – 500.0 kW DC there is no upfront cash rebate. Instead, Xcel pays $0.0375 per kWh of actual production (paid monthly for 20 years), in addition to the savings on your electric bill.
Systems larger than 500.0 kW DC the incentive will be determined through competitive bid process.
