Visit Fort Collins Names Cynthia Eichler as Executive Director & CEO

Visit Fort Collins announced that Cynthia Eichler has been named Executive Director & CEO. She will be responsible for leading the organization’s sales, marketing and service efforts to promote Fort Collins as a tourism destination.“We are excited to have Cynthia assume the leadership role as the Executive Director and CEO of Visit Fort Collins,” says Gary Ozzello, Chair of Visit Fort Collins. “Cynthia’s knowledge of the community and the region as well as her vision for the future is essential as we continue to work diligently toward broadening the view of Fort Collins as a tourist destination.”

Her background and experience include strategic planning, budgeting and marketing, while working successfully with a variety of stakeholders and partners. Cynthia has worked for the Everitt Companies, Alberta Development and most recently General Growth Properties. She has served as a volunteer with numerous community organizations including Shop Fort Collins, the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce and Poudre School District.

“It is an exciting time to be a resident and visitor in Fort Collins,” Cynthia says, adding, “My passion for the community and respect for the businesses in the industry make me even more eager to see how we can partner with stakeholders on future successes.”
