FORT COLLINS, Colo. (April 20, 2017) – Wilbur’s Total Beverage is pleased to announce that its 16th Annual A Vintage Affair event will be one of the first events to be hosted at the new CSU on-campus stadium. This classic wine and beer tasting event will take place on Friday, Sept. 29, 6:30-9 p.m. to benefit Pathways, a local nonprofit dedicated to serving northern Colorado with compassionate hospice care, palliative care, and grief and loss support.
A Vintage Affair will feature an elegant night of more than 275 wine and beer varieties from around the world, gourmet appetizers, silent and live auctions and more. Thanks to the generosity of Wilbur’s Total Beverage, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a drawing to win 99 bottles of wine or 99 bottles of beer.
“A Vintage Affair is the largest event that benefits Pathways throughout the year,” said Angela Quinn, Interim President of Pathways. “This year is extra special not only because our guests can experience the highly anticipated stadium event space but also because this year will benefit the Children’s Healing Garden.”
The Children’s Healing Garden is a project of Pathways for Grief and Loss and is currently in the fundraising stage. This $500,000 project will serve as a space for more than 600 grieving youth in the community to experience healing and active learning. The garden will feature many unique aspects, such as an oversized “bird’s nest” with an “eggs” seating area for one-on-one counseling, a memory garden, sand play area, shade structures and trees, a mandala area for art therapy and many more. The garden is expected to break ground in summer 2017.
Anyone over the age of 21 is invited to attend A Vintage Affair and learn more about the Children’s Healing Garden. Tickets go on sale July 10, 2017 and may be purchased for $80 at Wilbur’s Total Beverage in Fort Collins or online at pathways-care.org/ava.
A Vintage Affair would not be possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Presenting Sponsor: Wilbur’s Total Beverage; Gold Sponsors: Advance Medical Imaging, Banner Health, Columbine Health Systems, Premier Medical Corporation, UCHealth, Vision Financial Group.
