Valor Elite Training is giving unwanted shoes a new life; a new opportunity to help someone in need. Over the final six weeks of 2024, Valor Elite Training held a shoe drive, collecting 125 pairs of shoes to be donated to Soles4Souls, a global nonprofit dedicated to turning unwanted shoes into opportunities and making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
“We are so thankful for the generosity of our community,” said owner of Valor Elite Training, Tim Anderson. “Each pair of donated shoes has the potential to change someone’s life, providing them with comfort, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.”
Soles4Souls distributes new and gently worn shoes to individuals worldwide living in vulnerable circumstances. For recipients, the shoes help to eliminate a barrier to going on a job interview, to school, or participating in extracurricular activities. They improve the health and well-being of under-resourced people around the world.
After the success of this first drive, Valor Elite Training is excited to continue its commitment to this important cause by serving as an official Soles4Souls drop-off site throughout 2025. Community members can donate new or gently worn shoes at Valor Elite Training, knowing their contributions will help create meaningful change.
