Celebrate the resilient women of the WomenGive program; mothers, students, advocates, dreamers and leaders!

United Way of Larimer County will host the 17th Annual WomenGive Luncheon on Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This free luncheon will celebrate the determination and growth of WomenGive scholarship recipients who rose to meet the challenges of motherhood and higher education.

“For more than 17 years, WomenGive has led the charge in providing support and financial assistance through child care scholarships to single mothers pursuing postsecondary education,” said Deirdre Sullivan, President & CEO of United Way of Larimer County. “The average cost of child care in Larimer County is $1,277 per month, per child. Affordable child care is a challenge in our community and a pillar of our work.”

Attendees of the Luncheon will enjoy an inspiring program with several speakers, including Sullivan, WomenGive Co-Chairs Farra Lanzer and Stacey McBride, WomenGive scholarship recipients, and representatives from WomenGive’s Mission Sponsors: The Group Real Estate, Nutrien, and UCHealth.

“As the new year begins, we are excited to work alongside our scholarship recipients and champion their perseverance. WomenGive scholarships are made possible by a membership network of hundreds of generous community members dedicated to supporting single mothers pursuing higher education,” said Madisen Golden, Leadership Giving Director. “People want to help, and United Way of Larimer County’s WomenGive program demonstrates that when we join together, we can do more than any of us could do alone.”

Join United Way of Larimer County and celebrate the many accomplishments the WomenGive scholarship recipients have achieved in the last year! Free registration and more information is available at: https://bit.ly/WomenGiveLuncheon2023
