The Matthews House Announces New Development Director

Matthews House, a non-profit organization that enables disadvantaged young adults and families by providing the resources to help them take control of their lives and shape positive futures for themselves, has announced the selection of David Miller as its new Development Director. David works out of the Administrative Office located at 405 Mason Court in Fort Collins.

“Our Board of Directors and Executive Team are excited to have David join The Matthews House Team as Development Director,” said Founder and Executive Director of The Matthews House, Jerri Schmitz. “As we grow and reach further into the community to help overcome poverty and child abuse in Larimer County, we feel David is just what we need. His expertise in fund development, coupled with 30 years of experience, is a great asset to the organization.”

David has an outstanding track record leading business development and sales initiatives for regional, national and global companies. His experience in business development, capital fundraising, sales management and oversight of multi-pronged marketing campaigns make him a strong asset to advance efforts in philanthropy, advocacy and services made by The Matthews House. David is a graduate of Colorado State University, BSBA Marketing with High Distinction.

Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, The Matthews House is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides young adults and families to become emotionally and financially self-sufficient. The Matthews House has expanded from the initial Empowering Youth Program to include Family Services, as well as prevention services through their new Community Life Center located at Fullana Learning Center.
