The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is continuing the music and fun on Wednesday, June 26 with Bluegrass/Americana band, Shaky Hand String Band. The concert will take place on the west lawn of the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University from 6-8:30 p.m.
This five-member band consists of Jess Rose Moidel on the fiddle, Patrick O’Halloran on the banjo, Todd Webster on the mandolin, Loren Zynicki on the guitar and Angel Edgemon on the bass. The band is best known for their original songs about whatever they love – dogs, food, love, or just pondering the mystery of life.
The Little Kids Rock performers opening this week is Misadventured.
The food truck lineup this week includes Austin Taco, Snack Attack, Sweaty Moose, A-Maize’n Kettle Corn and The Betty.
The Lagoon Summer Concert Series runs for seven weeks throughout the summer and features a variety of music styles including country, reggae, folk, rock, and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for an enjoyable evening of free music. Residents should be cautioned that there is no parking allowed on Plum Drive.
