Fort Collins Chamber and Talent 2.0 Partners host event to support regional workforce

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce and regional Talent 2.0 partners will host the second annual Talent Summit, 7:30 – 11:30 a.m., October 4 at the Embassy Suites, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland.

Finding and keeping key talent will continue to be a challenge for employers throughout the Northern Colorado region. The business community is encouraged to attend, show support of the work being done, gain new insights and access novel tools that can create their future workforce.

“As we dive deeper into issues affecting our regional workforce, we are now implementing solutions and coming up with great resources that we hope help our employers find and keep the best people,” said Ann Hutchison, Chamber Executive Vice President. “With the Talent Summit, we want attendees to partake in the discussion, collaborate on new ideas and take back insights and resources to use as part of their recruiting and retention processes.”

The Talent Summit, established as part of the Align, Attract and Retain Talent initiative in the Chamber’s Northern Colorado Prospers Campaign, will include a morning of presentations, an insight into Talent 2.0, a discussion on trends and platforms for talent attraction, a sneak peek at new employer tools and an Employer Resource Fair.

The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Josh Packard from the The Packard Group. He will be presenting on “Becoming an Employer of Choice” and touching on how to think differently to drive true and lasting innovation in your organization. Dr. Packard has a passion for translating complex academic ideas into accessible and actionable insights for industries who are looking to engage and inspire a new, modern workforce that has shifted dramatically in recent years.

Tickets are $40 and on sale now by clicking here.

About Northern Colorado Prospers and Align, Attract and Retain Talent

Northern Colorado Prospers (NCP) is a five-year strategic initiative of the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce designed to address four specific challenges facing business in Northern Colorado. Fix North I-25; Align, attract and retain talent; Bold voice of business and Retain and expand existing business.

Goal 2: Align, Attract and Retain Talent
