Rocky Mountain Raptor Program Spring Open House
Celebrating World Migratory Bird Day and
Watson the Golden Eagle’s Hatch Day!

The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is hosting our Spring Open House on May 11th from 12 – 3 to mark World Migratory Bird Day and celebrate the 30th Hatch Day of their Educational Ambassador, Golden Eagle, Watson. The event will feature educational exhibits about raptors and Golden Eagles, limited edition merchandise, and a chance to meet Watson.

RMRP’s Golden Eagle, Watson, was found as a hatchling in 1994 after a terrible storm at Watson Lake in Bellvue, CO. He could not return to the wild, so he has dedicated his life to educating people about raptors and conservation. Watson has inspired and educated hundreds of thousands of people over the last 30 years, and we are excited to celebrate his 30th hatch day with you!
Join us for a fun and informative celebration:

Date & Time: May 11, 2024 – 12 – 3 PM
Where: Rocky Mountain Raptor Program, 720 E. Vine Drive, Fort Collins, 80524

Be Ready To Experience: Exciting learning opportunities about migratory raptors and Golden Eagles, educational exhibits about springtime and baby raptors, limited edition Golden Eagle shirts, hoodies, totes, and stickers, kids Migratory Bird Day coloring pages (first-come, first-serve), and much more!
