Ridgeview Classical Schools Hosts Humanities Day, An Intellectual Open House With Notable Speaker: Dr. Barry Strauss, Bryce and Edith M. Bowmar Professor in Humanistic Studies at Cornell University. Ridgeview Classical Schools, a K-12 charter school in Fort Collins will host an intellectual open house on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the school located at 1800 S. Lemay Avenue. The day will feature eight breakout sessions and a keynote address. Breakout sessions topics include discussions on Shackleton’s Crisis Leadership, Beethoven, terrorism in Spain, and Hamlet to name a few.
We invite the public to join us for a day of colloquia presented by our faculty, alongside our keynote speaker, Dr. Barry Strauss, a recognized authority on the subject of leadership and the lessons that can be learned from the experiences of the greatest political and military leaders of the ancient world. The event is free and a catered lunch will be available for $10.
