Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance
The Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance’s (NCLA) mission is to unite and empower the members of the Northern Colorado Chambers of Commerce with the means to generate a strong voice for positive impact on state and federal policy, regulations and legislation that affect businesses’ ability to succeed, and to help create a more positive business climate for the future of Northern Colorado.
The NCLA Board of Directors is comprised of six representatives from each of the three northern Colorado Chambers of Commerce plus the chamber executives, as well as the executive of the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation.
Visit NCLA’s website to take action, get involved, stay informed, or be heard about legislative issues that could affect your business.
Every year the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce produces a report on the Legislative Session of the Colorado General Assembly. The report gives details on how the session went and the work the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance (NCLA) did on your behalf. We think you’ll be pleased to know that while you were running your business, the NCLA had your back with state government and represented you well.
Here you can find the 2024 Legislative Directory.
Download the annual reports to see an issue-by-issue account of the Colorado Legislative Session as it intersected with NCLA’s priority agenda and general business concerns.
Local Legislative Affairs Committee
The mission of the Local Legislative Affairs Committee (LLAC) is to collaborate with public and private stakeholders to create a favorable environment for business, thereby enhancing the quality of life of the entire community and region.
The LLAC is composed of 23 Chamber members appointed by the Chamber Board of Directors. The make-up of the 23 individuals from the Chamber membership is reflective of the general Chamber membership. Applications for the committee are accepted each November. The LLAC is fully empowered by the Board of Directors to determine Chamber positions on all city and county local legislative issues which pertain to the Chamber’s mission statement.
