As many as 400,000 Coloradoans have been affected by fraudulent unemployment claims during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On February 25, 2021, representatives from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment presented to Chamber members on how to protect yourself and your employees from unemployment fraud and what to do if you have experienced it. These experts also shared the steps you can take to keep your data safe, as well as clear up some misinformation about what this will – or won’t  – do to your unemployment premiums.
