Progress on Big Goals

Chamber leaders hosted the first Northern Colorado Prospers (NCP) Annual Summit on April 25 at the Colorado State University Lory Student Center Theatre. The purpose of the summit was twofold: report progress on the four goals of NCP and to seek investor input. NCP has 100 investors.

More than 90 people attended the summit. After a quick progress update, Chamber board members facilitated small group conversations. Overall, the feedback was strong and positive – “good progress,” “keep charging ahead” and “help us understand more about a couple of the goals.”

Last week the Chamber and other strategic partners held the first annual Talent 2.0 Summit. The event was on May 8 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. The focus of the morning was on workforce talent.

During the summit, a new workforce website was introduced that contains some tools to help employers recruit talent. The new website can be viewed here.
