A Pint of Professional Development

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our new young professional development program, A Pint of Professional Development. In partnership with Dr. Erika Michalski of Strategically Authentic, she will present 4 sessions focused on useful professional development topics such as:

  • Strategic Thinking & Decision Making
  • Practical Project Management
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Communication & Feedback

Sessions will take place from 4 – 5:30 p.m. every other Tuesday starting March 7th. Each session will be held at the Odell Brewery Community Room and will include networking opportunities, professional development content from an expert facilitator, and one beverage of the participant’s choosing.

Along with facilitating the professional development sessions, Dr. Erika Michalski will be hosting “Office Hours” at Horse and Dragon Brewery for participants. It will be an opportunity for individuals to get additional support or tailored insight on session content. Participants are expected to attend all professional development sessions but attending office hours is optional.

One unique layer of this program is its follow up process. Each participant must identify someone in a supervisory capacity who will receive follow up information about the content from the session. This information will help that supervisor provide support for the participant implementing new skills gained from the session.

The program fee to participate in all 4 sessions is $40 for Chamber Members and $50 for non-Chamber members. Upon acceptance into the program, participants will be billed this program fee.
