Poudre Keg, a family-owned and operated restaurant and pub, is pleased to announce its opening in Old Town Fort Collins at 253 Linden Street, April 12, 2016.
“We are thrilled to be open now serving a fresh and delicious food menu, handcrafted brews and signature cocktails in Old Town Fort Collins.” says Jim Kimball, who launched the restaurant/pub with his wife, Kathy Throckmorton. “With a broad menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and desserts, Poudre Keg has something for everyone. We are proud to feature northern Colorado craft beers from 14 taps as well as our own signature cocktails with our own specialty nano brews coming soon.”
A few of the delicious items on the menu include a surf-and-turf burger that consists of a half-pound burger under a buttery crab and shrimp mix topped with melted provolone, a roasted salmon BLT featuring pan roasted salmon filet with crispy, smoked bacon and lemon pepper mayo. Desserts include homemade ice cream sandwiches and fresh baked pie.
In addition to Jim and Kathy, Poudre Keg currently employs 10 people and is expected to have 15 employees once established.

With its relaxed, fun atmosphere and capacity for 160 people as well as outdoor patio seating, Poudre Keg is a great addition to Fort Collins. There are 9 televisions (6 big screen) which will be featuring sports including the Olympics. Television concerts and music will also be broadcast. Additionally, there is a jukebox with diverse music for patrons to enjoy.
The restaurant opens at 11:00 AM every day for lunch and will close at 2 AM Wednesday through Saturday and at midnight Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. For holiday hours, please call the restaurant directly at 970-672-8862.
