Phase 42 of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) is now open, with $128,527 in federal funds available to support programs serving individuals and families experiencing economic challenges.
As the local administrator for EFSP, United Way of Larimer County is working to ensure these funds reach organizations that provide essential services. If you know of nonprofits or government agencies that may be eligible, we’d appreciate your help in spreading the word. Eligible organizations must:
✔ Be private voluntary nonprofits or units of government
✔ Be eligible to receive federal funds
✔ Have an accounting system
✔ Practice nondiscrimination
✔ Demonstrate the ability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs
✔ (For voluntary organizations) Have a voluntary board
Applications open February 1 and close February 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
