FORT COLLINS, Colo. (July 7, 2016) – As part of its mission to honor life and provide comfort for those who are grieving, Pathways for Grief & Loss invites the community to participate in its Summer Memorial Service and Butterfly Release. The event will take place at Pathways’ location, 305 Carpenter Rd. in Fort Collins, on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10 a.m.
“This event is a beautiful and uplifting way to honor those we have lost with the support of our community,” said Tammy Brannen-Smith, Director of Pathways for Grief and Loss. “Everyone grieves in different ways, and we hope all who attend can find peace and healing.”
The memorial service will include a reception with refreshments, poem reading, music therapy and dance performance by a counseling client whose mother recently passed away from cancer in the care of Pathways Hospice. The morning will conclude with releasing butterflies into their natural habitat to celebrate the healing power of nature.
Butterflies may be purchased for $20 at http://pathways-care.org/. This event is free and open to the public.
