FORT COLLINS, Colo. (July 10, 2017) – As part of its mission to honor life and provide comfort for those who are grieving, Pathways for Grief & Loss invites the community to attend its Summer Memorial Service and Butterfly Release. The event will take place at Pathways’ Fort Collins location, 305 Carpenter Rd., on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10 a.m.
“Everyone grieves in different ways, and Pathways for Grief and Loss provides multiple outlets for individuals to work through this grief,” said Tammy Brannen-Smith, Director of Pathways for Grief and Loss. “The Summer Memorial and Butterfly Release is a beautiful and inspirational way of honoring loved ones and gathering as a community.”
The memorial service will include a reception with refreshments and performance by Pathways’ music therapists. The morning will conclude with releasing butterflies into their natural habitat to celebrate the healing power of nature. Butterflies may be purchased through Monday, July 10 for $20 at pathways-care.org. This event is free and open to the public.
The Summer Memorial and Butterfly Release is one of many events hosted by Pathways for Grief and Loss. In May 2017, Pathways honored northern Colorado students who have passed away at the Gathering of Hope event. The community is additionally welcomed to attend several ongoing support groups for bereaved individuals. Learn more at pathways-care.org/griefandloss.
