Colorado State University, the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies, and Virginia Tech are excited to announce Pathways 2023: Human Dimensions of Wildlife Conference and Training. The conference will be held May 31 – June 3, 2023, at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. The theme for the 2023 conference is Managing Wildlife in an Era of Mutualism.

We invite our local businesses to join us in partnership for the 2023 Pathways: Human Dimensions of Wildlife Conference! The conference, hosted by Colorado State University, is looking for local partnerships and sponsorships to showcase the amazing community Fort Collins has to offer.

The 2023 conference aims to focus on an important topic that is crucial to state and federal wildlife agencies: how can wildlife industry management change its approach to include diverse voices, allow for different perspectives, and meet the needs of drastically changing mindsets?

As the leading conference of its kind, Pathways 2023 will once again bring together experts and interested members of the public from around the world to share research, ideas, and questions about the future of the human dimensions of wildlife industry. With a regular audience of 300-plus attendees (divided between practitioners and researchers) from across more than 37 countries and an average of 89 agencies represented, Pathways offers attendees access to a diverse group of voices addressing the challenges affecting fish and wildlife conservation and management, and the opportunity to work together to bridge the gap between conservation science and practice.

With investments and in-kind donations from key entities, the Pathways Conference will successfully continue its mission of increasing the professionalism and effectiveness in the human dimensions of wildlife field. We humbly ask that you make an investment in the future of wildlife conservation by helping to fund future research, innovation, and collaboration.

In return for sponsorship, businesses will receive opportunities to promote their work as well as opportunities to collaborate and share information with conference attendees. The attached document provides more in-depth information on sponsor benefits and the scope of the conference and trainings.

If you are unable to make a monetary donation but would like to support the conference, we are happy to discuss other options with you. Send me an email at [email protected] for any partnership opportunities or inquiries.
