While I hope everyone is tucked in and warm on this incredibly chilly day, I wanted to share information about two exciting educational opportunities we have available to the business community next week (when we return to survivable temperatures!).
On Wednesday, February 26, the Fort Collins Area Chamber, alongside the Fort Collins Rescue Mission, is hosting a “More Than” conversation. From 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Magic Rat in the Elizabeth Hotel, we will showcase information about the New Homeless Resolution Center that is being built in North Fort Collins.
The Homeless Resolution Center project has made its way through local development processes and is entering its final stages of planning. This new Resolution Center will be much needed shelter and meals – but will also be so much more. Join us to learn about the current reality for our community, service expansion that will target the ending of homelessness and how this solution benefits Fort Collins. We’ll be providing a light continental breakfast and registration is Open Here.
On Thursday, February 27, The Fort Collins Area Chamber, alongside Visit Fort Collins and CSU Ram Sports Properties, is hosting a Community Partnership Summit focusing on what’s happening in college athletics, CSU’s vision heading into the Pac 12, and new opportunities to enhance business partnership through content and athlete brand representation.
Networking will be from 8:00 am-8:30 am followed by a short program and Q&A at 8:30 am and we will be at Visit Fort Collins, 7 Old Town Square. This is a free event to help business understand the changing landscape and an RSVP helps us make sure everyone can enjoy treats provided by the Silver Grill Cafe. RSVP HERE by February 20.
Have a great day and we look forward to seeing you next week!
