OpenStage Theatre & Company is thrilled to announce the extraordinary cast lineup for its upcoming production, Big Fish – Small Cast Edition, set to enchant audiences at The Lincoln Center Magnolia Theatre from March 23 to April 20, 2024.

Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film by Tim Burton, Big Fish – Small Cast Edition follows the fantastical journey of Edward Bloom, portrayed by the talented Scott Hurst. A traveling salesman with a penchant for larger-than-life tales, Edward’s adventures unfold in a magical blend of heart and humor. Brikaih Floré takes on the role of Sandra Bloom, Edward’s devoted wife, while Brian Wilcox portrays their son, Will, determined to unveil the truth behind his father’s extraordinary stories.

Many familiar faces with OpenStage are returning to the stage, including Marin Stumpf as Josephine Bloom, Cisco Saavedra as Karl the Giant, David Austin-Gröen as Amos Calloway/Dr. Bennet, Jacob Offen as Don Price, and Bryn Frisina as Jenny Hill. Debuting artists to the company include Marlon Rothstein as Young Will, Tiernan Troyer as Zacky Price/Mayor, Courtney Kofoed as The Witch and Ruby Duka as Girl in the Water.

Directed and choreographed by the talented Noah Racey, with Victor Walters as the Music/Vocal Director, the production promises to be a heartfelt, powerful, and truly magical experience.
