Due to growing concerns regarding the ongoing spread of COVID-19 and recommendations from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Northern Colorado Manufacturing Partnership (NoCo) has rescheduled the upcoming NOCOM Trade Show to Thursday, June 11, 2020.
On Tuesday, Governor Polis declared a state of emergency for Colorado. Per his press release, this declaration will help ensure resources are available to the state to combat COVID-19. Wednesday, President Trump issued a proclamation under section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) to restrict travel to the United States from people who have recently been in certain European countries.
The safety and wellbeing of NOCOM exhibitors and attendees is of the utmost importance to the NoCo team. Moving the April Trade Show to June will limit attendees to any potential exposure.
NOCOM looks forward to hosting all exhibitors on June 11, 2020.
“NoCo continues to demonstrate support of manufacturing across a range of industries,” said Heidi Hostetter, NOCOM 2020 trade show chair. “Colorado is one of the fastest growing states in the nation; Northern Colorado, specifically Larimer and Weld counties, is growing twice as fast as the state. Based on industry-feedback, we are expanding to include the construction industry as part of the 2020 show.”
NOCOM is Colorado’s largest manufacturing trade show organized by local business leaders. The event showcases Northern Colorado’s expanding manufacturing sector as well as connects suppliers, manufacturers, capital, and services. To date, the 2020 show has over 120 exhibitors registered. A few exhibitor spots still remain.
The NOCOM 2020 app is live; it includes a database with company contact information and product and description of services and products offered. With global economic turbulence, manufacturers and need to connect more than ever with companies in their supply chain.
