Your Fort Collins Area Chamber has been acutely focused on aligning, attracting and retaining talent as part of our work with Northern Colorado Prospers (NCP). Employers have long shared with us concerns about the ability to create a talent pipeline and we took those concerns to heart in supporting the creation of NoCoInspire.org
NoCoInspire.org is a a one-stop, online shop for business to access internships, apprenticeships and more work-based learning opportunities. The Chamber and NCP provided funding for this exciting two-county collaboration.
Northern Colorado is known for having a diverse and strong business community, with businesses varying in industry and size. The root of our region’s thriving success? A strong economy formed by meaningful relationships, which oftentimes begin with connections made through work-based learning.
Through the collaboration of public and private partners, the Larimer and Weld County Work-Based Learning Alliance has come together to make it easier for businesses to connect with the local workforce — up-and-coming and current jobseekers — to fill any gaps. By linking business to young people wanting to cut their teeth and qualified adult candidates, NoCoInspire.org aims to help business owners thrive while creating workforce pipelines.
