Berthoud, Estes Valley, Fort Collins, and Loveland Community Fund Committees announce grants

After coming off of our biggest giving year ever, with $12.15 million going out into the community from July 2023 to June 2024, the NoCo Foundation (Community Foundation of Northern Colorado) is excited to announce that $448,805 is being granted to nonprofits across the region.

Community Fund grants align with key issues discussed in the NoCo Intersections report, including housing/housing affordability, childcare, aging population, social connectivity and belonging, and mental health. Forty-eight agencies received a total of $448,805 to support important work on these issues.

Each year, the NoCo Foundation accepts applications from nonprofits for financial support of Northern Colorado projects. Local volunteer fund committees review nonprofit applications and select grant recipients in their respective communities.

This month, the Berthoud, Estes Valley, Fort Collins, and Loveland Community Fund Committees (CFCs) awarded 48 charitable organizations grants totaling $448,805.
• The Berthoud CFC awarded five nonprofits a total of $43,395.

• The Fort Collins CFC awarded 20 nonprofits grants totaling $210,210.

“The NoCo Foundation is honored to support so many impactful organizations,” shared Senior Program Officer, Jodie Riesenberger. “We are grateful that our nonprofit partners took the time to apply for this funding. As our region continues to grow, the nonprofit sector is more vital than ever in ensuring well-being for all. We are pleased to play a small part in supporting the work through our community grantmaking.”

The NoCo Foundation thanks its many volunteer committee members for their thoughtful evaluation throughout the grant process, undoubtedly leading to positive impact.
