Western States Bank announces new Vice President of Commercial Loans serving the Loveland market, Drew Johnson.

As Vice President of Commercial Loans, Johnson is responsible for partnering with new and existing area businesses through the complex commercial loan process. Johnson focuses on providing high levels of customer service using the latest technology available.

“Western States Bank is excited to bring Drew Johnson aboard our team and benefit from his years of banking experience,” said Richard Pearson, SVP/Colorado Market President.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Montana, Johnson graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

“Western States Bank was not only impressed with Drew’s work experience, but also his commitment to the community which aligns with our mission as a true community bank,” said Pearson. “Prior to moving to Northern Colorado, Drew was incredibly involved in the Laramie community with his ongoing participation with Laramie Rotary Club and Laramie Head Start. ”

Johnson was awarded co-Rotarian of the Year in 2012 and recognized as one of Laramie Young Professionals and Laramie Boomerang’s “20 under 40” in 2016.

“Without the guidance from my family and friends, my success and experience would not have been possible. I am thrilled to further my banking career at Western States Bank and kick-start my community involvement in Northern Colorado with Western States Bank’s We CAN Food Drive,” said Johnson.
