Healing Warriors Program expands Post Traumatic Stress program

Healing Warriors Program is pleased to announce expansion of their existing Post Traumatic Stress program to a 9-session series standard. This series is free of charge to all service members providing proof of military service: DD214, Veterans Administration or military identification. This grant program supports Healing Warriors Program’s goal to improve quality of life of Veterans by providing non-narcotic care options for alleviating pain, managing anxiety and stress, and improving sleep.

“We are seeing an escalation in anger, anxiety, suicide ideation and sleep disturbance issues due to the effects of COVID-19 in our community.  At a time when our service members are enduring the sustained impacts of pain and post-traumatic stress, we are seeing many who are experiencing pain and sleep disturbance regression and renewed trauma,” said Healing Warriors Program Executive Director, Ana Yelen, “it is critically important to provide our veterans effective non-narcotic treatment options to assist them and their families during this challenging time.”

Service members of any branch and any era are eligible for services.  Please contact the Healing Warriors Program clinic at (970) 776-8387 to make an appointment or for more information.
