Ridgeview’s Haley Kendall Wins The PSD Spelling Bee

Kendall Triumphed Through 44 Rounds to Win the 2017 Title

Fort Collins, CO: Ridgeview Classical Schools’ Haley Kendall (Grade 6) triumphed through 44 rounds to clinch the title of 2017 Poudre School District Spelling Bee Champion!

Two students from Ridgeview participated in the Poudre School District Spelling Bee on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Wolfgang Jeckel (Grade 5) spelled his way to 8th place, and Haley Kendall persevered through 44 rounds to win! It was the longest PSD spelling bee on record. Both Kendall and Jeckel will advance to the Colorado State Spelling Bee at Denver University on March 11th! Congratulations!
