UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins was named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades yesterday. For more information about this recognition, please see the press release from Healthgrades and a state-by-state list of all 2021 recipients.

PVH is one of just two hospitals in the state to be recognized on the 50 Best list. In addition, Healthgrades recognized PVH with clinical quality awards in five areas: critical care, joint replacement, orthopedic surgery, pulmonary care and stroke care.

“It is an honor to be recognized as one of the best hospitals in the country,” said Kevin Unger, president and CEO of UCHealth’s Northern Colorado Region, which includes PVH. “Our nurses, doctors and staff show up every day fully committed to providing the best possible patient care and experience. These folks are improving outcomes and lives throughout our community. I couldn’t be prouder.”

UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital in Metro Denver was recognized on the America’s 100 Best Hospitals list as well.
