NoCo HBA COVID-19 Supply Drive
Our Northern Colorado neighbors need our help right now. The Northern Colorado Home Builders Association is hosting a supply drive to collect critical equipment needed for health care workers and social services organizations.
Starting March 24, NoCo HBA will have a container in the parking lot collecting supplies. The container, donated by Inland Leasing & Storage, allows people to safely donate supplies while following social distancing guidelines. The container will be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our address is 1907 North Boise Ave. Unit 1, Loveland, Colorado 80538.
“We’re all practicing social distancing right now but that doesn’t mean we can’t come together as a community in a different way,” said Dan Ormesher, board chairman. “Donating supplies is a small way we can show our gratitude to our health care workers. And there’s enough worry in the world, families shouldn’t have to wonder where their next meal is coming from or if they have enough diapers.”
There will be a second container taking donations in the parking lot of Independent Plumbing Solutions, 1611 E Lincoln Ave. Unit A, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80524. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For individuals interested in donating that do not have supplies on-hand we have set up an Amazon registry of supplies that can be shipped to our offices for donation.
We’re seeking the following donations for our community partners:
• Nappie Project: Diapers, especially size 6
• Meals on Wheels: Hand sanitizer and toilet paper
• Food Bank for Larimer County: Canned goods, brown rice, Mac and Cheese, whole grain pasta, whole grain cereal (low sugar) and peanut butter (non-hydrogenated oil).
