Local nonprofit, Neighbor to Neighbor is celebrating 50 years of service to the Larimer County community. The year of celebration is kicking off with a 50th Birthday Benefit on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 6-8:30pm. Tickets are available at www.n2n.org/events.
The celebration will bring the fun with an open bar, appetizers, dessert and live music. It will also bring plenty of life-changing impact with a live auction, paddle raise and the opportunity to host a Rent Party!
What’s a Rent Party? It’s a party with a purpose! Rent Parties originated in the 1920s where families would get together at a house party, pass the hat, and help a neighbor pay rent to prevent them from being evicted. We are looking for 50 Rent Party hosts in our 50th year – if your family or business is interested in hosting a party with a purpose, email [email protected].
Neighbor to Neighbor envisions communities where everyone has the opportunity and access to a stable home and has been serving the community to that end for the past 50 years. Funds raised at the 50th Birthday Benefit and subsequent rent parties will be used to prevent and end homelessness in Larimer County.
