Miramont Lifestyle Fitness will conclude a summer of fundraising for its Colorado Moves to End Cancer series with a Hawaiian-themed cocktail party on August 29 from 6-9 p.m. The luau will take place poolside at Miramont’s south location, 901 Oakridge Drive. Colorado Moves to End Cancer raises funds for the UCHealth Cancer Center and non-smoking lung cancer research at The University of Colorado Cancer Center. Last year $22,500 was donated to each entity.
“Our goal with Colorado Moves to End Cancer is to take time to honor those who fought, celebrate those who won and raise awareness about cancer in Colorado,” said Miramont Owner Cliff Buchholz. “The cocktail party is one way we engage the Miramont community and beyond to give back and support the fight against cancer.”
This year’s annual cocktail party will feature live entertainment, Hawaiian fare, a live and silent auction and more. Members and non-members alike are welcome to attend. Tickets are $25 each.
