Landline is turning Fort Collins into a Penguin Playground and inviting everyone to play!

Beginning the evening of Wednesday, December 7, local airport shuttle service Landline will begin placing nearly 200 penguins around Fort Collins. The one-foot-tall paper birds, perched on top of stakes, will be located in a rectangle bordered by Laporte Avenue, Drake Road, Shields Street, and Timberline Road, which does include Old Town. Finding a penguin is worth at least $5 off service from the Fort Collins/Loveland (FNL) airport to DIA. A limited number of penguins are worth a free one-way trip on Landline; The finder of one ‘golden penguin’ will win two complimentary roundtrip domestic flights – anywhere of the finders’ choosing (within the lower 48 states, and with a 6-week advance purchase). The golden penguin also comes with Landline ground transportation service. Each finder will receive a coffee drink coupon from The Human Bean of Northern Colorado.

A penguin statue stands on a snowy sidewalk in sunlight, wearing an ID badge around its neck. In the foreground, there's a small sign with a cartoon penguin waving cheerfully. The scene appears in an urban area with buildings in the background.

Finders must bring their penguin and attached stake to Landline’s offices, 113 S. College Ave., downtown Fort Collins, by 5 p.m. Monday, December 12, to redeem their prize.  Each penguin has a QR code that contains details. Although participants need to redeem the penguin to learn about their prize.  There is a limit of one penguin per person.  Details HERE
