Lagoon Turns Down a Country Road with Union Gray July 12

FORT COLLINS, COLO. – July 6, 2017 – The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is excited to welcome classic country band, Union Gray, on July 12, 2017. This feel-good country, Denver-based band will grace the Lagoon stage at 6 p.m. on the west lawn of Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center.

Union Gray boasts a unique blend of classic country favorites and a modern rock-based country sound. Their music celebrates artists spanning from Oklahoma to Texas, Nashville to the Rocky Mountains, and beyond. Their passion is wowing audiences young and old with an energetic and interactive stage presence.

Band members include Scott Gray, vocals and guitar; David Mahn, guitar; Bradley Robson, bass; and James Nelson, drums. Although based in Denver, the talented quartet has played at venues across northern Colorado. Recently, they had the impressive opportunity to open for renowned country artist Craig Morgan at the Greeley Stampede in 2016. The band debut album, “Livin’ Free,” is now available on www.uniongray.com.

Little Kid Rock performers, Tavelli Tiger Stripes, will have the pleasure of opening for Union Gray on July 12. Concert goers are encouraged to grab dinner at one of the several local food trucks onsite: Mile High Lobster Shack, La Piadina, The Taco Stop, Revolution Artisan Pops and Human Bean Coffee Truck.

The Lagoon Summer Concert Series will run for eight weeks throughout the summer and feature a variety of music styles, including country, reggae, folk, rock and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for an enjoyable evening of free music. Residents should be cautioned that there is no parking allowed on Plum Drive.
