Loveland, COLO. – April 20, 2017 – High Country Beverage, a locally owned and operated beer distributor, has been awarded the prestigious MillerCoors President’s Award as well as the MillerCoors Great Beer Great Responsibility Recognition. The awards were presented at the MillerCoors Distributor Convention in Las Vegas in March 2017 and demonstrate High Country Beverage’s commitment to superior business practice and dedication to the community.

The MillerCoors President’s Award is given to the top performing distributors from across the five MillerCoors sales regions. High Country Beverage was recognized as a top performer in the Central Region. The criteria for the MillerCoors President’s Award include:
• 3 year volume CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate)
• On-premise volume (core 4 draught + core package volume)
• Total off-premise chain volume (measuring same store sales)
• Total independent liquor and c-store volume
The MillerCoors Great Beer Great Responsibility Recognition is awarded to those who demonstrate outstanding work in alcohol responsibility in the environment and community. High Country Beverage fulfills these criteria with its TAKE CARE® Responsibility Program. The program works closely with Colorado State University to educate the student body on responsible behavior and how to take care of fellow students in need. Through this program, High Country Beverage funds student intern positions so that TAKE CARE® representatives can initiate Campus Pledge events, create impactful videos and promote alcohol responsibility through a variety of marketing efforts.
