When & Where: Saturday, Sept. 7, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., City of Fort Collins Streets Facility, 625 Ninth St.

  • household batteries
  • fluorescent bulbs
  • cleaning and automotive products
  • vitamins and supplements
  • personal care products
  • mercury-containing items

Spring Back Colorado mattress recyclers also will collect mattresses and box springs for $15 per item (cash or charge). Details: SpringBackCO.org

  • tires
  • e-waste
  • asbestos
  • explosives
  • pharmaceuticals
  • bio-waste (needles, bandages)
  • commercial and industrial waste

The Timberline Recycling Center’s Hard-to-Recycle Yard, 1903 S. Timberline Rd., accepts antifreeze, batteries, motor oil, paint and plastic bags, free of charge. Details: fcgov.com/TRC
