Aspen Grove Veterinary Care will honor 20,000th new patient on May 4 at 2 p.m. during on-site appointment.

FORT COLLINS, COLO. – Aspen Grove Veterinary Care will hit their 20,000th new patient on Friday, May 4 since the hospital’s opening in late 2006. The honoree, Laika the dog, was adopted from Weld County Humane Society.

Bobby and Jaime Cawthron, Co-Owners of Aspen Grove Veterinary Care, relocated to Fort Collins from Austin, Texas to purchase the practice in 2006. “It took one weekend for us to fall in love with Fort Collins and want to be a part of this wonderful community,” says Bobby Cawthron, Lead Veterinarian and Co-Owner of Aspen Grove Veterinary Care.

From being the first veterinary hospital in Fort Collins to offer therapy laser in 2008 to being named Fort Collins Small Business of the Year in 2014, Aspen Grove Veterinary Care has flourished in Northern Colorado and continues to grow each day. At the beginning of 2018, the clinic announced The Cabins at Aspen Grove, an expansion offering premier overnight boarding for pets and a spacious doggie daycare facility.

Along with the years of dedication to all Northern Colorado pets, Aspen Grove Veterinary Care regularly gives back to the community. “By providing free exams for adoptees at Fort Collins Cat Rescue and Animal House, hosting an Adopt-a-Thon and participating in The House That Beer Built through Habitat for Humanity our staff is able to show unwavering support to a community that has given us so much,” said Jaime Cawthron, Hospital Director and Co-Owner of Aspen Grove Veterinary Care.

“As we celebrate this milestone, Aspen Grove Veterinary Care would like to thank our past and current clients and staff members who have made us a success over the last 11 years. We started as a small 4-person clinic and without the driving force of everyone supporting us along the way we would not be the current staff of 23 expert professionals that we are today,” said Cawthron.
