Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President, John Hensing, MC, FACP, of Banner Health will provide the keynote presentation for the 2015 Health Care In Your Future Summit on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. at the Embassy Suites Conference Center.
Dr. Hensing will open the Summit event with his presentation, A New Era of Accountable Care in US Healthcare.
Other topics throughout the day include, The Changing Physical Landscape of Health Care in Northern Colorado, Driving Innovation in Health Care in Northern Colorado with a showcase of innovative health care solutions from our region, and a presentation from Tatiana Bailey, Ph.D., the Executive Director of the Southern Colorado Economic Forum and her take on Health Care in the US – A Bird’s Eye View.
Tickets for the Health Care In Your Future Summit are now on sale and can be purchased at fortcollinschamber.com. Individual tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $350.
The event, now in its fourth year, has added a job fair component designed specifically for the healthcare industry. Healthcare companies seeking employees can attend the job fair for free by registering at jotform.us/LarimerCounty/Health. The Health Care In Your Future Job Fair will take place immediately after the Summit from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Embassy Suites.
Potential health care applicants are encouraged to attend and should be prepared to provide a resume and speak with potential employers on site. The Job Fair is a collaboration between the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, the Larimer County Workforce Center, Employment Services of Weld County, and the Health Sector Partnership.
The Summit aims to provide members of the business community the opportunity to discuss developments in healthcare, the outlook of the healthcare industry in the region, and actions that could strengthen our local healthcare sector.
