Start New Year’s 2022 with a self-guided tour to Arthur’s Rock
Start off New Year’s 2022 on the right (or left) foot with a First Day Hike at Lory State Park! Hikers can meet at the Arthur’s Rock parking lot at 10:00 am on January 1, 2022. To promote a COVID safe hike, participants will hike the Arthur’s Rock trail on a self-guided tour. Interpretive stations will be set up along the trail to provide information on park history, geology, wildlife, and more!
While it’s been a dry fall/winter so far, there is some snow in the forecast for December 31st. (Yay!) Please be prepared for the hike by bringing plenty of water, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing accordingly. For more information, click here. (Note: This program is free with required park permit.)
