Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. creates a scholarship for the Colorado State University Business Department.

FORT COLLINS, CO (July 22, 2016) —In 2016, the Colorado State University scholarship committee will select its first annual recipient of the Cornerstone Home Lending Inc. scholarship. The chosen candidate will receive funds in the amount of $2500 to apply towards tuition, housing or living expenses.

Applicants must be an attending junior or senior student pursuing a degree in the College of Business at CSU. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have somehow participated in a local community service program. They will also be required to write an essay to express their understanding of the current mortgage environment.

Sabrina Nowling, Regional VP of Marketing at Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. created the scholarship in 2016. “Having spent my entire career in banking and mortgage lending I am exceptionally proud of Cornerstone’s commitment to support our local students and dedication to attract the next generation to our industry.”

The recipient will be awarded in October at a celebratory lunch hosted by the university and attended by Sabrina Nowling and Gene Humphries, Regional President.
