The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce has been honored by industry associations for the leadership and the work it continues to do for businesses and organizations in the northern Colorado region.

The Chamber’s mission is to proactively empower business people to build a community where business can thrive and citizens are proud to live. It serves as a convener and cultivator of leaders and influencers, a catalyst for business growth and a champion for a balanced, resilient and thriving economy. To validate and recognize this work, the following are awards recently presented to the Chamber, its staff, and vendors working on Chamber projects:

Colorado Chamber of Commerce Executives (CCCE) 2019 Best Communications Campaign for Bringing Business Home
Jessica Verderame, Chamber’s Development and Retention Coordinator, awarded Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives 2019 40 Under 40 award.
“Award of Excellence” winner in the Communications Excellence awards program presented by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) for Bringing Business Home Campaign
2019 dotCOMM Platinum award for WorkInNorthernColorado.com

“These awards reflect the hard work and professionalism of our Chamber as we serve our members and community,” said David May, Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. “Our Bringing Business Home campaign underscores the deep connection between the vitality of our community and the remarkable people in our area businesses, large and small.”

The national dotComm award for WorkInNorthernColorado.com is an example of the strong partnerships the Chamber develops with many of its professional vendors.

“Just like Jet Marketing has done with our Bringing Business Home campaign, Development Counsellors International has brought a high level of professionalism and expertise to create WorkInNorthernColorado.com,” said May.

“We couldn’t be any prouder of Jessica Verderame! Think about it for a minute: out of all of the thousands of young professionals working at chambers of commerce across North America, only 40 earned the “40 Under 40” designation. We have one of them right here on our team! How cool is that,” said May.
