First, all the Dance Express board members, staff, and community want to say a big thank you to Lyndsay Whitlock, the recently resigned Board President. Lyndsay started on the Board in 2018 and served as Secretary for two years and then as Board President since 2020. During her time, she led the board in creative fundraising and community outreach and was especially active with hosting the 30th Anniversary Celebration in February 2019. A realtor and a writer, she is a strong advocate for access to the arts and we are pleased that she will continue to support Dance Express, an inclusive dance company in northern Colorado, into the future.
Now, Dance Express is proud to announce David Brown as our new Interim President until elections in May 2022. David joined the Board in 2019; he has a passion for raising funds to support worthy organizations, such as Children’s Miracle Network and Dance Express. He has served as the Dance Express Fundraising Chair since 2020. As President, he now takes a more active role on the board to guide Dance Express in successful growth and outreach. A realtor with ReMax Alliance, he believes in improving lives through dance and encouraging community inclusion.
